Mondo Bag - SPF
The Mondo Bag is a large bag that's suitable for the beach, a weekend getaway, diaper bag or taking quilts to the Quilt Guild for show-and-tell. It has a bottom that's about 10 inches square, with 15 inch tall sides, and includes an interior pocket and a loop for a keychain. The bag is mondo cool and easy to make! Classes available Saturday, 1-11-25 or Wednesday, 1-15-25. Class hours are 10am - 3pm. Class fee $50. Call the shop at 217.670.1257, stop by or sign up online. Reserve your spot today!
Class supplies needed:
Pattern including interfacing pack
Fabric for 4 panels & 4 handles
20 - 2 1/2" strips x WOF OR 48 - 5" squares, plus 4 - 2 1/2" strips x WOF for handles
1 1/4 yd - fabric for bag lining
1 1/4 yd - Soft and Stable by Annie OR
1 1/4 yd - flex foam OR
1 1/4 yd - fusible fleece
Class Equipment & Tools:
Sewing machine in good working order with power cord & foot control
Metal presser foot for best results
Rotary mat & cutter - 18"x24" is best
Ruler - Stripology ruler OR 2 1/2" X 6" or longer OR 6" x 12" ruler
Applique pressing sheet
Clips (preferred) and/or straight pins
Thread to match fabric choice
Snips and/or scissors
Elmer's washable school glue stick (white), not purple
