Learn Laura Heine's techniques from certified instructor Linda Lambert to successfully create, secure, and quilt your own work of art! Collage quilts are all about using fabric, patterns, motifs, and values to create your design.



This class will start with a kit, but you can add your own personal touches from your stash if you like! You will learn the Laura Heine collage quilting process and complete your design layout by the end of class.  Suggestions on quilting and finishing will be shared in the class.

This class will utilize the "Featherweight" pattern. A fabric kit will be available for additional purchase from Sew Sweet Quilt Shop.  (Please note - Class fee is for instruction only, we collect this fee for Linda. Pattern and kit purchase required to complete project in time allotted).

Collage is for everyone - no experience necessary to learn this technique! (And what better way to learn than with a certified instructor?)  

Required Supplies:

*  Teeny Tiny Collage Featherweight Group 5 pattern
*  Fabric Kit - price to be determined
*  Karen Kay Buckley medium serrated edge scissors (blue handles)
*  #2 pencil
*  Silicone Applique Fusing Mat  17"x 24"
*  Applique Pressing Sheet
*  12" wide Steam-A-Seam 2 (no substitutes) 3-5 yards
*  Pattern Ease Foundation - 3/4 yard
*  Rotary cutter and a mat if you prefer your own
*  Optional - mini iron and an ironing mat. (Classroom irons will be available but if you have your        own mini set, please bring!)
*  Sack lunch

Linda is a great teacher and her passion about this topic is infectious.

Minimum 5 participants for class to be held.  If minimum not reached, class fee will be refunded.

Any refunds for classes cancelled by participant will be returned as store credit only.
