Lets Get Started - SPF
Learn basic piecing techniques to complete a machine pieced mini quilt top. You will learn how to safely use a rotary cutter and mat system. Practice a quilter's scant 1/4" seam allowance. Learn proper pressing techniques to get a true, accurate pieced block.
Class fee is $45. Come in or call the shop to sign-up at 217-670-1257.
SUPPLIES
4 - coordinating fat quarters (18" x 20"), non-directional, light, medium and dark hues
Matching thread and full bobbin
45mm rotary cutter
Sewing machine (in good working condition), manual, power cord, foot pedal
1/4" piecing foot
Rulers: 6"x24" or 6"x12" and 12 1/2"x 12 1/2"
Basic sewing supplies: scissors, seam ripper, straight pins, marking pens, etc.
